History

Since 2000, the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce has recognized excellence in Business and Customer Service in our community with the annual Sterling Awards. In collaboration with our numerous sponsors we have recognized over 1000 individuals and businesses.

As a non-profit organization that receives no government funding, the Chamber relies on fundraising events such as the Sterling Awards to help fund its many programs and initiatives.

 

 

The 2009 Sterling Awards were held Friday, May 1st at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre complete with a formal dinner followed by the gala Awards Ceremony. Above are some pictures from the event.
