The policies and programs of the Chamber are determined by its Board of Directors, who are elected by the membership. The Directors employ staff who are responsible for organizing and executing Chamber programs and promoting Board policies. Most Chamber work takes place in volunteer committees.

Who finances the Chamber of Commerce?
The Chamber is a ‘Business’ and our cost of operation and expenses are similar to those of many of our members. Our expenses are paid for by membership dues and fund-raising activities throughout the year. Annually we set goals, establish a budget and prepare written reports. We work within our budget and thanks to the support of our members, staff and volunteers we are able to provide the services and programs that are expected from a Chamber of Commerce.

What are the hours of operation for the Chamber?
Our hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. We are closed on statutory holidays and for a week during the Christmas holiday.
Our summer hours (July & August) are 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Can the Chamber of Commerce donate or help my not-for-profit raise funds?
