Fans of 1960's sitcom Gilligan's Island will recall a sweet girl-next-door type named Mary Ann Summers, portrayed memorably by the lovely and talented Dawn Wells.
Ms Wells, a.k.a. Mary Ann, will visit Qualicum Foods on May 25 and plans to reunite with another castaway cast member, the legendary SS Minnow which now has a new role as a charity fundraiser with the Quality Foods family.

On Saturday May 25th, 2013 Cottonwood Golf Course is hosting the 10th annual SHOTS FOR KIDS Charity Golf Event. Together with your generous donation, we are raising funds to aid in the cure for Juvenile Diabetes. Trent and Jacqui Kaese along with Cottonwood golf course, friends and family are driven by passion in this quest of finding a cure. All monies raised will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This organization has funded in whole or in part some of the most innovative research projects in the world in the fight to cure Juvenile Diabetes. JDRF has been involved in every major breakthrough in Diabetes Research for over 34 years.
