The Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce is The Voice of Business in our community. We work with and on behalf of our member companies to promote the economic diversity of our community and to promote it as a business friendly community.Our members support the Chamber and the community in a variety of ways. Chamber Roster

The Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce Electronic Member Roster is your business resource with a directory of up to date information on Chamber members. In business having the right information is critical and for that reason we moved to an Electronic Member Roster. The Member Roster is a highly sought-after marketing tool, making it an excellent advertising medium. With over 700 members the Nanaimo Chamber has considerable reach among the business community in the Central Vancouver Island area. Newsline

The Newsline is the monthly voice of the Chamber designed to inform members and the business community about Chamber events, training opportunities, new members, and to offer insightful articles. It’s distributed electronically to over 800 people and available on-line on our website. Advertising in the Newsline is available; rates are very reasonable. Monday Morning Email

Send your business message to the membership at large via email. Book a transmission date to correspond with your next promotion or special event and get the word out to our members for $105 + GST. Dates are available on a first come first served basis.

M2M Benefit Program

One of the things we encourage is Chamber members doing business with fellow Chamber members. Every Nanaimo Chamber member, and their staff, has the opportunity to participate in, or take advantage of, our GNCoC Member to Member (M2M) Value Program. Click here for more information.

Display your business card or pamphlet

Members of the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce can display their business cards or pamphlets at our Chamber office. There is no cost for this service. We rotate the cards and pamphlets on a regular basis to allow all members wanting this service to be included.

Business after Business and Business before Business

These networking events are an ideal way to showcase your business. Business after Business events are held monthly from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Business before Business is held monthly from 7:30 – 8:30 am. Each event is hosted by a different Chamber member. The Host gets a short write-up in the Newsline, on the Chamber website and the event is promoted by the Chamber. These very popular events are booked up to 2 years in advance, so call now to get your business on the list.

Luncheon Sponsorship

Present your message to a captive audience at one of our Chamber luncheons*. Gain visibility for your business banner, place your flyer at each place setting, and take 5 minutes at the podium to share your message with the membership.
